TROG Cancer Research Excellence Awards

Call for nominations OPEN

We are thrilled to announce that nominations for the annual TROG Cancer Research Excellence Awards are now open!

As an organisation focused on achieving and promoting excellence in cancer research, this is an opportunity for us to thank and acknowledge the work of stand-out individuals and trials within our network.

For the 2020 TROG Cancer Research Excellence Awards, nominees can enter the categories listed below:

  • Lifetime Member: recognising late-career researchers who have made significant contributions in the field of radiation oncology and/or in the development of emerging technology/techniques that have advanced oncology treatments, and have demonstrated service to TROG.
  • Outstanding Contribution: mid-career researchers who have made significant contributions in the field of radiation oncology and/or in the development of emerging technology/techniques that have advanced oncology treatments; and have demonstrated service to TROG.
  • Trial Excellence: recognising outstanding performance in trial conduct by a team of trial investigators.
  • Emerging Clinical Researcher: early-career clinical researchers who have made significant contributions to the field of radiation oncology and/or in the development of emerging technology/techniques that have advanced oncology treatments.
  • Peer Recognition: recognise outstanding professionals who have made significant contributions to the field of radiation oncology/radiation therapy/interventional oncology clinical trials and have demonstrated substantial service to TROG.

Award recipients will be announced at the TROG 2020 ASM Gala Dinner on Wednesday 18 March 2020 at Dolton House, Jones Bay Wharf, Sydney.

Applications for the 2020 awards close at 9am Monday 3 February 2020.
