Skelton and Ms Lydia Tamblyn, Encanta Event Management, the TROG Organising and Program Committees, and importantly the (over) 200 delegates who helped make the 2023 ASM a resounding success. We were excited to host a range of sponsors and exhibitors who engaged with key decision makers whilst demonstrating their products, and without whom we would not have been able to host another ASM of this magnitude.
Our interactive Clinical Research Education Workshop was hosted by Eleanor Allan from Caledonian Clinical Training Group, where attendees dove deeper into the study coordination process. Similarly the Technical Research Workshop brought together 65 attendees and had a Disney theme, highlighting the “magical” advancements in technology and treatments in radiation oncology.

In 2022 we re-united members of the health industry in a controlled and safe environment on the Gold Coast. The Gold Coast is a vibrant city of sun, surf and sand hosting world-class beaches and great activities to suit everyone’s interests and that of the family too. We hope you all enjoyed coming back together for our in-person event and gained a lot of valuable insight from our range of speakers and hosted workshops.
The theme of the 2022 ASM was Emerging and Evolving, which explored new ways of thinking about research methodologies, emerging clinical trial concepts, and the continued enhancement of collaborative research capabilities.
Our 2022 ASM hosted a number of keynote speakers as we took a closer look at emerging topics in radiation medicine research. Our ASM hosted more than 250 delegates from Australia and New Zealand, making for an excellent networking and engagement opportunity.
The ASM Program Committee developed a diverse and innovative program, which included collaborative workshops, scientific sessions showcasing ongoing clinical trials, discussion of new clinical trials and future research strategies.
For over 30 years, Trans-Tasman Radiation Oncology Group has been dedicated to improving the way radiation medicine is delivered to cancer patients with ongoing scientific research, clinical trials, and cutting-edge technology.
