HOST A TEA4TROG

Hosting a morning or afternoon tea with friends, at home, at work, with your gym friends or at a venue will raise critical funds to help us conduct cancer trials that can change and save lives.

Register your details by emailing trog@trog.com.au and we’ll send you a Tea4TROG host kit, including ideas and tips for your event, stickers and posters, a donation box, balloons and donation details.

Here’s how hosting a Tea4TROG works

1. Register to host a Tea4TROG.
2. We’ll send you your host kit so you have everything you need to make your event a success.
3. Start planning your event. Choose a date and invite family, friends, colleagues or gym buddies along. You can even hold a bigger event for the community in a local venue.
4. Download our free email banners, website button, logo and social tiles to help promote your event. Click here to download your TeaTROG promotion material.
5. There are a few ways you can use your Tea4TROG to raise funds. Consider placing your donation box somewhere visible and secure so people can make donations as they please before, during and after the event. You could also sell tickets at a set price to come along (such as $5 per person to enjoy the morning/high tea and the delicious treats on offer). Another good way to raise funds is to run games and competitions during the event. For example, you could hold a 'Guess the weight of the cake' challenge where people can put money into a jar to guess, and then the winner with the closest guess receives half the money in the jar or an alternative prize (such as a cake) at the end of the event. As a Tea4TROG host, we encourage you to be creative!
6. Enjoy scrumptious treats, tasty tea and good company during your event. You could even take a few photos during your event and share them through social media. Don’t forget to tag us and use the hashtag #Tea4TROG.
7. Bank the funds you’ve raised using the banking details on your Tea4TROG host welcome letter.
8. Thank everyone for participating in your Tea4TROG event.
9. Plan to make this an annual event or share the experience by taking turns hosting each year.
