Varian Australasian Oncology Summit, 24-25 February 2017

You are invited to join the oncology community to learn more about the latest in clinical implementation of advanced treatment technologies. This conference is for customers and potential customers of Varian and will be held at the Grand Hyatt in Melbourne, Australia from Friday 24th to Saturday 25th February (9:00am - 5:00pm).

2nd ILROG Educational Conference: Radiotherapy in Modern Lymphoma Management, 7-8 April 2017

The Conference will be held at the newly opened Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre at the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre Building (VCCC).

The faculty will include international and local leaders in lymphoma management in a multidisciplinary program for radiation oncologists, haematologists/oncologists, radiation therapists, physicists and nurses involved in the care of patients with haematological malignancies.The program under development will cover current perspectives and controversies on the role of radiotherapy in a broad range of lymphomas, the clinical application of the involved site concept: state of the art radiotherapy planning and treatment delivery (DIBH, IMRT, Proton therapy), lymphoma pathology, PET scanning, late effects, biology and new therapies.

Joint meeting of the 9th World Congress of Melanoma and 14th International Congress of the Society for Melanoma Research, 18-21 October 2017

The joint congress, to be held at Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, will bring together the world’s leading melanoma researchers and clinicians to showcase the latest developments in melanoma diagnosis, treatment and research. This global summit will accelerate scientific and clinical investigations into melanoma, providing an opportunity for delegates from multi-disciplinary fields to meet in a warm climate to exchange knowledge and expertise.

ANZHNCS ASM and the International Federation of Head and Neck Oncologic Societies (IFHNOS) 2016 World Tour, 25-27 October 2016

The Australian and New Zealand Head & Neck Cancer Society (ANZHNCS) ASM and the IFHNOS 2016 World Tour will be held from 25-27 October 2016 at The Langham Auckland, New Zealand. This meeting is designed for health professionals working in the area of head and neck oncology including; ENT surgeons, plastic and reconstructive surgeons, head and neck surgeons, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, medical oncologists, surgical oncologists including endocrine surgeons, radiation oncologists, registrars, speech pathologists, nurses, dietitians, psychologists, medical students and other health professionals.

Provisional topics include oral cancer, thyroid cancer, multidisciplinary therapy, salivary tumours, operative techniques in head and neck surgery, minimally invasive surgery, larynx preservation, stump the faculty, reconstructive surgery, oropharyngeal tumours, melanoma and skull base surgery. For further information:

2016 SABR Symposium, 18-19 November 2016

Proudly hosted by the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, this multi-disciplinary teaching program is applicable to Radiation Oncologists, Radiation Therapists, Radiation Oncology Medical Physicists, and Radiation Therapy Nurses. Held at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre’s new home, the 2016 SABR Symposium is designed as a comprehensive educational tool for practitioners at all levels of experience, conveyed through both lecture sessions and interactive workshops. Full registration is limited to 120 participants.
